All Employees

The department of Environment, Health and Safety is committed to providing a safe and healthful environment for all persons associated with the University.

The Environmental Health and Safety training ensures that all University employees receive the required training under State and Federal regulations.

The ITS Security Training and Compliance provides employees with basic ITS security awareness concepts and strategies to protect University information.

HIPAA Training provides employees with the necessary knowledge of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA). Specifically, an employees responsibility in maintaining confidentiality, privacy, and information security.

Title IX Awareness and Violence Prevention training educates employees on how they can contribute to the University’s commitment to provide a discrimination and violence free environment.

You may not be able to complete this training for 30-45 days after the start of your appointment. Please contact Angela Lyght if you are still unable to access the training after 45 days.

Research Based Employees

Required to research based employees only, the Conflict of Interest Training can help employees identify and mitigate situations of conflict.

Positions Working with Students

FERPA is a federal law that protects the privacy of student education records.

FERPA training is required to access education records in ConnectCarolina.
