Together While Apart

Health officials worldwide continue to monitor the respiratory illness outbreak caused by a new coronavirus, named COVID-19. In response to the pandemic, the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy is operating under University guidelines. Our faculty and staff are working remotely and our students are taking classes online. While we have ramped down activities in our research laboratories, our labs continue to conduct critical research and research related to COVID-19. Together while apart, we continue Advancing Medicine for Life.

In March and April, we successfully transitioned classes and programs completely online for a student body of approximately 100 postdoctoral fellows, and more than 800 Pharm.D., Ph.D, and M.S. students.
