Objectives:
● To showcase a range of programs across lab and non-lab research that are directed towards the main theme of the meeting, i.e., mental health and resilience
Description: To maximise the reach of this session, talks will be in a 10 + 5 min format resulting in 6 talks across the session. Speakers include: Afia Ali (UCL) – ‘Developing a target therapy for anxiety associate with dementia using a novel human cell-based model;’ Suzie Harris (UNC) ‘Best practices for well-being strategies to support students, staff and faculty’; Karen Gregory (Monash) ‘Fine tuning glutamate receptor activity for psychiatric and neurodegenerative disorders’; Kathryn Morbitzer (UNC) ‘Fostering inclusive learning environments, development and implementation of training by the Center for Innovative Pharmacy Education and Research’; Aili Langford (Monash) ‘The development of the Australian evidence-based opioid deprescribing guideline’; Zoe Moon (UCL) ‘Treatment engagement and optimisation: the importance of beliefs and behavior’
