Objectives:
● Exploring types of natural disasters and the effect on populations
● Identify the infrastructure required for medications and medication management services during a natural disaster
● How do global crises, including natural disasters, affect a student’s personal, professional development and wellness
Description: This session will examine the impact of natural disasters on health care, including pharmacy services. Presenters will explore needs introduced, the required response, and the downstream effects on pharmacists’ and student pharmacists’ well-being.
