Open Houses

Pharmacy Fridays

ExploRx Pharmacy
ExploRx Pharmacy is a dynamic and multifaceted one-day program on the Asheville campus designed to teach participants what pharmacy is, illustrate what a pharmacist does, and share tips and strategies about submitting a strong pharmacy school application.

LEAD: Leadership, Excellence and Development Program
The UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy proudly presents its Leadership, Excellence, and Development (LEAD) program. This is a one day professional development program for those seeking to learn more about the dynamic career opportunities in the field of pharmacy.

Leadership Academy
Leadership Academy is a strategic leadership development program consisting of seminars, specialized projects, and networking opportunities. This program is designed to build creative, confident, caring and critically thinking leaders. This program expands on the opportunities provided to LEAD participants.
As an extension of the LEAD Program, high school and college participants are invited to engage in an intensive mentoring and preparatory program that includes networking opportunities, unique experiences designed to develop strong professional relationships and provide access to faculty and students from one of the nation’s leading pharmacy schools.
During these sessions, participants attend seminars, academic-enrichment classes, working lunches, and networking time in a social setting, gaining a greater understanding of leadership in health-science fields and what it takes to succeed.

Mentoring Future Leaders in Pharmacy
M-FLIP provides an individualized and highly structured mentorship between Student Pharmacists and prospective college students. These connections foster building professional relationships, and increasing access to knowledge and confidence for those pursuing a career in Pharmacy.
