Today, the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy once again has been named the No.1 Doctor of Pharmacy program in the country by U.S. News & World Report.
The rankings are based on feedback from all accredited pharmacy schools across the country and are published every four years. This is the second time in a row the School has secured the top position.
“Today is a day to celebrate this great achievement,” said Angela Kashuba, dean of the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy. “It’s because of our dedicated faculty, staff, students, alumni, partners and friends that the School continues to excel in the areas of education, research and practice. They are the reason we are able to continue advancing medicine for life and it is a true privilege to be a part of this School’s community.”
The School has achieved several milestone accomplishments since the last U.S. News & World Report ranking, including:
- Graduating its first class of pharmacy students under its innovative Pharm.D. curriculum
- Awarding more than $25 million in research funding from its Eshelman Institute for Innovation
- Securing 9 in 2020 QS World University Rankings
