UNCLCN Webinar – American Indian Cancer Control & Health Equity

Join the UNC Lineberger Cancer Network for “American Indian Cancer Control & Health Equity” an online webinar led by Donald Warne, MD, MPH
Co-Director, Center for Indigenous Health and Provost Fellow, Indigenous Health Policy. This webinar will be held November 30 from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. This webinar will offer free CME and NCPD/CNE continuing education credits.

Learning Objectives:

  • Define the terms American Indian/Alaska Native, Native American, and Indigenous.
  • Explain the history of American Indian health policy and the legal right to health services.
  • Describe at least two tangible steps to take to improve American Indian cancer control and health equity.

These courses are intended for medical, radiation, and surgical oncologists, hematologists, advanced practice nurses, registered nurses, physician assistants, radiologic technologists, researchers, pharmacists, trainees, allied health personnel, and others who are interested in care for patients and survivors in North Carolina.
