Research Week: 2022 Hettleman Talks

Enjoy three 15 minute presentations by this year’s recipients of the Phillip and Ruth Hettleman Prizes for Scholarly Achievement. The talks will provide an engaging look into these distinguished early career scholars’ work.
This event will take place October 10, from 11:00 a.m – 12:00 p.m in Wilson Library, in the Pleasants Family Assembly Room.
The late Phillip Hettleman, a member of the Carolina class of 1921, and his wife Ruth established their prestigious named award in 1986 to recognize the achievements of outstanding junior faculty. The recipients of the $5,000 prize will be recognized at an upcoming Faculty Council Meeting.
