Bessie Cao

Bessie Can received her PharmD from UNC-Chapel Hill and her MPH in epidemiology from University of Michigan – Ann Arbor. She studied pharmaceutical science for her bachelor’s degree at Fudan University in China.

Bessie’s research interests include real-world evidence of drug safety and effectiveness, polypharmacy, medication adherence, and deprescribing. Outside academic research, Bessie enjoys reading in a coffee shop, catching up with family and friends, and traveling around the world.
