The UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy has launched the Master of Professional Science (MPS) in Regulatory Science, a one-of-a-kind program designed to impart on students a dynamic regulatory science skill set that is in hot demand by employers in the health care industry.

As the top school of pharmacy in the U.S., the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy understands the critical need for highly trained regulatory science professionals who bring value to product safety, efficacy, and quality to confront the new global health care challenges that appear virtually every day in today’s world.

“This program is the result of collaboration between our world-renowned faculty at UNC-Chapel Hill and strategically aligned professionals in the regulatory field,” said Program Director Rachel Church Ph.D. “In addition to advanced training in global regulatory science, the program places a significant emphasis on developing professional skills that are paramount to preparing graduates to become the gatekeepers who will protect the health of the global community.”

Graduates of the program will be prepared to become leaders in public health, global compliance standards, and consumer safety, developing the critical skills necessary to drive innovation in pharmaceutical products from concept to market and beyond. These future leaders will work on the forefront of healthcare innovation.

The MPS in Regulatory Science is affiliated with the National Professional Science Master’s Association (NPSMA). Applications are being accepted now for the first cohort of students in Fall 2023. For more information, please visit the program website.
