One hundred and eighty-three high school students, college students, and college graduates participated in the 2013 Carolina Pharmacy Leadership, Excellence, And Development (LEAD) program. This year’s program held sessions on June 11 in Asheville and on June 18 and 19 in Chapel Hill. The LEAD program is an annual, one-day preparatory and professional development program geared toward students who are interested in exploring a career in pharmacy and learning how to be competitive in the pharmacy-school admissions process.
