1. The Fund for Pharmacy Advancement
The Fund for Pharmacy Advancement is a powerful tool that enables our leaders to advance our highest priorities and most vital initiatives. The Fund’s strength is in its numbers: gifts of any size from hundreds of supporters are pooled to provide the greatest impact with the least obstruction. These funds sustain our exceptional existing programs while providing resources for exciting new opportunities.

- The Student Experience. Unrestricted gifts have an immediate effect on the educational experience of our students. Funds are used to bolster scholarships and awards, host professional development activities and support student organizations.

- Areas of Greatest Need: The Fund provides critical financial flexibility so that we are prepared to respond rapidly to urgent, unmet needs.
2. Planned Gift

Charitable Gift Annuity: This is a contract between you and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Foundation Inc. This contract allows you to make a generous gift to the University, while providing a guaranteed income stream to you for life.
Charitable Lead Trust: A charitable lead trust is a trust that you establish during life or at death that pays its income to the University, typically for a stated number of years.
Charitable Remainder Trust: A charitable remainder trust is a gift arrangement defined by federal tax law that allows you to provide income to yourself or others for life or a term of years while making a generous gift to the University.

4. Faculty/Staff Pledged Gifts
