Each spring, third-year doctor of pharmacy students at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy receive their white coats, the traditional symbol of health professionals. The White Coat Ceremony marks the students’ transition into the final year of the PharmD program and is designed to commemorate the transition from the classroom to the Pharmacy profession. This event is meant to reflect the responsibility, professionalism, and commitment expected of the pharmacy professionals.
The 2014 White Coat Ceremony was held Saturday, March 22, in Memorial Hall.
