The UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy hosted the Sixth Annual Chapel Hill Drug Conference on May 11-12, 2011. The theme of the conference was “Comparative Effectiveness Research: Methods and Applications.” More than one hundred experts from academia, industry, and regulatory agencies attended. Scott Smith, MSPH, PhD, from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality delivered the keynote address. The event was sponsored by The North Carolina Translational and Clinical Sciences Institute, the UNC-GSK Center of Excellence in Pharmacoepidemiology and Public Health, and the Cecil G. Sheps Center for Health Services Research.
