The doctor of pharmacy program at the UNC School of Pharmacy is ranked second in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. The 2009 rankings were released March 28. The School’s program was ranked third by the magazine in 2006 (released in spring 2005), the last time PharmD programs were evaluated.
“While I believe that these rankings should be viewed with caution, I can not help but be both pleased and proud when I heard that our professional program achieved a number two U.S. News ranking,” said Bob Blouin, dean of the School. “To be compared so favorably with the other really excellent institutions on that list is something our students, faculty, and staff can be very proud of.”
