Jordan Masterson, Pharm.D.

Asst. Professor of Clinical Education

Jordan Masterson received her B.S. in biology with a minor in anthropology at UNC Chapel Hill in 2006. She returned to Chapel Hill and the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy to complete her Pharm.D. in 2012 after a year spent volunteering with Americorps and Outward Bound in Atlanta, GA. She then pursued a PGY1 pharmacy practice residency at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. Since that time she has worked both as a member of the pharmacy float team and in adult medicine, and is a board certified pharmacotherapy specialist.

Her current areas of interest include adult and internal medicine, transitions of care, and geriatric medicine. She also enjoys participating in global health volunteer missions and has traveled to Honduras and Guatemala to practice rural medicine. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys cooking, reading, traveling and spending time outdoors.

She will primarily be involved in precepting introductory and advanced hospital practice experiences at Mission Hospital.
