Antonio A. Bush, Ph.D.

Assistant Director, Strategic Planning and Assessment Assistant Professor

Antonio Bush, Ph.D., is an assistant professor of educational innovation and research in the Division of Practice Advancement and Clinical Education and an assistant director in the Office of Strategic Planning and Assessment (OSPA) at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy. He earned his bachelor of science in early childhood education from Albany State University (Georgia), his master of science in higher education and student affairs from Indiana University, and his doctorate in educational research and policy analysis from North Carolina State University. He has previously served in research, administrative, and teaching roles at UNC-Chapel Hill, Duke University, North Carolina State University, and North Carolina Central University. His current research interests concern graduate and professional student socialization, student development, underrepresented students in STEM and health professions, assessing curricular and co-curricular experiences, and advancing qualitative research in the field of pharmacy.
