PY4 students returned to campus for Post Clerkship Day on May 4 to celebrate the completion of their rotations and prepare for commencement.

PY4 President Stephanie Salch presented the School with the Class of 2018 gift, The GROW Fund, which will promote Guidance, Resilience, Open-Mindedness and Wellness among student pharmacists as part of the School’s initiative to foster student, faculty and staff wellness.

Post Clerkship Day festivities included addresses by Interim Dean Dhiren Thakker, Ph.D., and Associate Dean for Clinical Education Wendy Cox, Pharm.D. The fourth-years honored their award-winning classmates and faculty members and enjoyed the Class of 2018 video at the ceremony.

“Post Clerkship Day is one of my favorite events because it’s always exciting to welcome our fourth year students back to campus,” said Colleen Wernoski, assistant director of the Office of Student Affairs. “The class of 2018 is a genuinely remarkable group of students, and we’re so proud of their successes.”
