UNC Pharmacy Faculty and Staff, join CIPhER for “Taking the Difficult out of Difficult Conversations: How to Facilitate Dialogue on Difficult Topics in the Classroom Setting” led by UNC Vice Provost Leah Cox and Director of Education, Community Engagement, and Belonging, Cloe Liparini.
At the end of this program, participants will be able to:
1. Reflect upon previous experiences where challenging conversations arose in the classroom setting
2. Review strategies to build trust and facilitate respectful and open dialogue between faculty/staff and students on topics related to diversity, equity, and inclusion
3. Identify models to navigate challenging communication and feedback
This event will be held in Beard 209, Karpen 115 and over Zoom from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m EST on Wednesday, January 25, 2023. Check your email’s from CIPhER for the Zoom link.
Lunch will be available for in-person attendees and continuing education credit will be available for licensed pharmacists. We hope to see you there!
