CIPhER’s Scholarship of Teaching & Learning (SoTL) Bootcamp

Designed by the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy’s Center for Innovative Pharmacy Education and Research’s (CIPhER) world-renowned faculty educators, the SoTL Bootcamp is designed to aid health science educators in increasing scholarly productivity though SoTL and improving their teaching through systematic evaluation, analysis, and dissemination.

Learning Objectives: At the end of this program, participants will be able to:
• Define scholarship of teaching & learning (SoTL) in relation to one’s own pharmacy teaching praxis
• Define powerful, evidence- and research-based strategies and techniques
• Develop a plan for designing and implementing a SoTL project (from planning through completion)
• Demonstrate transferable skills and knowledge to share and disseminate
• Identify new colleagues to collaborate with on SoTL research

Target Audience: This program is designed for all educators.

The University Of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. ACPE program 0046-9999-25-025-L04-P provides 8.0 contact hours of continuing pharmacy education credit. To receive CE credit, participants must complete the CE attendance form and the online evaluation of the program (instructions to be emailed). Statements of credit can be viewed and printed in CPE Monitor in approximately 2 to 3 weeks. **No partial credit will be available**
