Building a Curriculum for Resilience and Well-Being

● Identify the core elements that contribute to resilience and well-being
● Explore existing teaching activities where resilience and well-being are taught, practised or assessed
● Consider how resilience and well-being focussed meaningful activities could be scaffolded within a multi year Pharmacy curriculum
Description: There is a need to prepare a pharmacy workforce that is equipped in basic psychosocial skills, trained to reflect on coping strategies and psychological support mechanisms in line with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals 3 and 4 which emphasises the importance of good health and well-being for all as well as quality education. In this session, participants will discuss ways in which to best support resilience and well-being in students in preparation for the Pharmacy workforce.
