Med-World Pharmacy takes advantage of many ambulatory care opportunities including patient office visits and education classes for several different chronic disease states taught onsite as well as at the local hospital. CLIA waived Point of Care of Testing allows us to enhance these services and provide greater clinical care. We are an accredited AADE site for Diabetes Education, offering office based appointments as well as group classes. We manage pharmacy operations for three different rural hospital/surgery centers, as well as partner with family practice physicians to provide in-office clinical care services. We also work with an ICFIID facility in which we collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care for their patients. Med-World Pharmacy was opened over 30 years ago in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. It was purchased in 2011 by Travis Wolff, solely dispensing medication at that time. Since then, Travis has worked with his impeccable team to add new clinical services each year. The first services added were immunizations, of which the pharmacy team now plans and executes over 100 off-site clinics each year, as well as non-sterile compounding. Small but mighty, Med-World Pharmacy currently employs five pharmacists (including our current pharmacy resident), as well as ten support staff. We pride ourselves in having a positive work culture where everyone loves coming to work, by focusing on four major teams including FISH, Daily Operations, Hedgehog, and Clinical Care.
