Course Description: This course will teach students key aspects of starting a biotechnology company. Students will learn about approaching venture capital and pharmaceutical companies and how to value intellectual property from an investor’s perspective. Students will also be introduced to resources available to startup companies and how to develop a business plan. This course will be taught asynchronously but will include regular touch points with course instructors and other students.
