IQVIA Pharmacokinetics/Pharmacodynamics Fellowship

The clinical pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics/ postdoctoral fellowship program at IQVIA provides research experience that enables fellows to gain expertise in drug development, quantitative pharmacology, and translational research while preparing them for careers in an industrial, academic, or regulatory setting.
The ideal candidate should have a Pharm.D., Ph.D., or M.D. and possess strong analytical and programming skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, good organizational abilities, and evidence of leadership and team work. A background in pharmacokinetics is preferred.
Fellows will participate in clinical pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic, pharmacometric, transport, and/or metabolism studies with faculty at the School and with members of the Clinical Pharmacokinetics group at IQVIA. Each fellow will design and initiate an individual research project over the course of the two-year fellowship. Fellows will spend their first year at the School and their second year at IQVIA.
Fellows will develop expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Design and implementation of PK and PD studies in healthy volunteers, patient populations, or relevant in vitro/pre-clinical models
- Computer PK and PD data analysis and simulations
- Laboratory methods to evaluate clinical drug disposition problems
- Biostatistical analysis and pharmacometrics
Fellows may participate in selected course work in biostatistics, advanced pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, clinical research methods, clinical study design, data management, advanced therapeutics, drug metabolism, and/or molecular biology.

Fellowship interviews begin in early December and typically conclude in January. You will be notified of the final disposition of your application as soon as possible.
