The Division of Chemical Biology and Medicinal Chemistry at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy offers two fellowships to support graduate students during their first year in the division. The fellowships are offered to outstanding applicants who demonstrate an impressive record of achievement in their undergraduate education, research, and life experiences and show the highest academic potential. There is no special application process for these fellowships, as they are offered based on the overall application for admission and participation in the recruitment process.
Chemical Biology Scholar Fellowship
This fellowship provides an annual award of $4,000 and will be awarded to applicants who demonstrate the most impressive record of achievement and show the highest academic potential.
Chemical Biology Merit Fellowship
This fellowship provides an annual award of $2,000. The number of Chemical Biology Merit and Scholar Fellowships available varies from year to year based on the availability of funds and qualified applicants.
Molecular Pharmaceutics Scholar Fellowship Awards
The Molecular Pharmaceutics Scholar Fellowship Awards provide supplemental stipends to support Ph.D. students in their first and second years in the Division of Molecular Pharmaceutics at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy.
