Adjunct Faculty Appointments

Clinical education title adjunct appointments are available for individuals who meet the following criteria: (1) employed outside of the University, or have a primary appointment in a University unit outside of the School of Pharmacy; (2) demonstrate consistent and ongoing meaningful involvement in the School; (3) exemplify sustained involvement in teaching, scholarship, and service to the School and profession; and (4) identify a PACE faculty sponsor.

In January and July, annually, applications for initial appointment and reappointment are reviewed by the Practice Advancement and Clinical Education Division Leadership Team. A recommendation is made to the Practice Advancement and Clinical Education Division Chair, who makes the final decision concerning the appointment or reappointment.

Clinical education title appointments are at will and provided for three years. After each three-year appointment period, adjunct faculty will be provided the opportunity to request reappointment.
