Chris is responsible for leading efforts to establish the School’s data strategy as we aspire to effectively utilize and visualize data to foster a culture of data-informed decision making and organizational effectiveness.
Before joining the School, Chris worked for over 25 years in the fields of data analytics, business management and operational effectiveness. His most recent experience includes senior management positions with ABC Insights (acquired by HelioCampus), a leading provider of data analytics and efficiency best practices to major research universities, and Global Knowledge where he served as the Vice President of Curriculum and Learning Services. Chris enjoys complex problem solving and developing innovative approaches to analyzing and visualizing data to inform and improve decision making.
Chris earned a B.A. in Organizational Behavior and Management from Brown University and is also a graduate of the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School where he continues to serve as a Faculty Advisor within the STAR Program.
In his spare time, he enjoys time at home with his family, UNC sports, hiking and is an avid golfer. Chris and his wife Meghan (who works at Honors Carolina and Kenan-Flagler) live in Chapel Hill with their two daughters.
