Angelo Navas

Angelo received his bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration with a minor in Psychology from Liberty University, he also complemented his education with post-graduate courses at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and North Carolina State University. He has prior work experience in research (academia & industry) as well as in different clinical roles. He has worked at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Duke University, where he published several papers along his roles. He has experience in pharmacoepidemiology, pharmacovigilance, research project management, medical writing, and large data analysis.

He is primarily interested in innovative health policy implementation when it comes to new drugs or drug-delivery procedures (involving medical devices). Focusing on the implementation, precision medicine, health economics, and research outcomes arms of translational health science to improve comparative effectiveness on safety policies of healthcare interventions. In his spare time, Angelo enjoys spending time with his family, pets, biking, playing the drums, and travelling.
