UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy recognized as Leader in Diversity by the Triangle Business Journal

The UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy (ESOP) is proud to announce the nomination and selection of the School as a Triangle Business Journal 2022 Leader in Diversity. On Wednesday October 12, 2022, Dean Angela Kashuba, as well as a group of staff, faculty, students and alumni were present to receive the award on behalf of the school. Two posters presented by UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy professors, Suzie Harris and Jackie Zeeman were recognized as Top 5 selections for the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy’s Best Poster Award for the Social and Administration Section. UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy presents new health and wellness website for teens

A new website (iuveo.org) designed by and for teens has just launched, allowing teenagers and their peers to receive immediate health and wellness tips. “Information for the Evolving Teenager,” or IUVEO, was created to share information and resources about a variety of relevant medical conditions and situations that teenagers may experience at this stage in their lives. With easy to navigate pages dedicated to asthma, ADHD, vaping/smoking, diabetes, depression, and more, some  pages also contain phone numbers for immediate assistance. The UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy is proud to announce the formation of the Eastern Advisory Board. School Ranks Second in Nation in Research Funding with $49 Million

The UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy once again ranks second among the nation’s pharmacy schools in total research as well as NIH funding, nearly reaching $49 million, according to data compiled by the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy. The School had 107 funded investigators who received $48,683,211 in awards from all funding sources in fiscal year 2021 – a 5.67 percent increase from fiscal year 2020.
