Data represents total external research grant funding and NIH grant funding (which includes CoI/CoPI NIH funding), independently verified by the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP).  The data is reported each Federal Fiscal Year (October 1 to September 30) by the Eshelman School of Pharmacy Director of Research Administration.  Data is shared with AACP in January and is typically available for reporting via the AACP website by late May to mid-June each year.

(1) The overall win rate is the sum of all awards received in previous years reported divided by proposals made in all previous years reported.  Award total received in the year are based on award notice date and unique award number divided by proposals made in year as reported in RAMSeSUnique proposal numbers are anchored to unique award numbers.  The following proposal types are excluded from this analysis – Non-Competing Continuation/Progress Report and Recurring Contracts.
