Udobi Campbell, PharmD, MBA and Executive Associate Dean of Pharmacy Practice has been announced as vice president of operations at UNC Hospitals. Campbell will transition into this role on August 21.

Udobi Campbell, PharmD, MBA, has been named Vice President of Operations for UNC Hospitals. In this role, Udobi will exercise executive oversight of multiple departments, including Care Management, Pharmacy, Carolina Air Care, Patient Logistics Center, and the UNC Hospitals Hospitalist program through our partnership with the UNC School of Medicine’s Department of Medicine.
She previously held the position of Executive Director of Pharmacy for Triangle West and was instrumental in the Department of Pharmacy’s successful COVID response and support to the organization. Prior to joining UNC Health in January of 2020, Udobi held multiple senior leadership roles at Duke University Hospital in both inpatient and outpatient service areas during her twelve-year tenure.
Udobi is a well-developed leader with great enthusiasm for supporting our organization’s mission to improve the health and well-being of North Carolinians and others we serve. Udobi has been a licensed pharmacist for almost 25 years, and her progressive leadership journey spans over fifteen years. She will transition officially into this role on Aug. 21, 2022.
