The UNC Office of Technology Commercialization hosted the annual Celebration of Inventorship on Sept.10, which featured 11 UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy members who received 13 patents in 2019.

The virtual event celebrated all faculty, staff and student inventors from UNC-Chapel Hill who received issued patents in 2019.

“I am so proud of our faculty members for their dedication to pursuing innovative solutions in health care and I appreciate all they are doing to help people live longer, healthier lives,” said Angela Kashuba, dean of the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy. “This group comprises about a quarter of all those who received patents at UNC-Chapel Hill, which is truly remarkable.”
