She is a diplomat of the American Board of Clinical Pharmacology. Kashuba is the author of more than 190 peer-reviewed publications and has received more than $20 million in research funding.

After earning a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from the University of Toronto, Kashuba completed a general practice residency at Women’s College Hospital. She practiced as an oncology pharmacist and as a critical-care pharmacist at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto and then attended the State University of New York at Buffalo to earn her doctor of pharmacy.
