Christina joined the Paine group in 2007. Her research focuses on food-drug interactions, specifically those involving fruit juices. She is investigating the effect of grapefruit juice and its components on intestinal uptake transporters.

Scott joined the Paine lab in 2008.  His research focuses on herbal product-drug interactions, specifically involving the herbal supplement silymarin.  He is currently investigating the potential for silymarin to inhibit drug metabolizing enzymes using pharmacokinetic modeling and simulation techniques.
