Mary Paine Lab
The Paine Lab is applying a translational research approach, guided by pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic modeling and simulation, to address real-world challenges. Specifically, we are developing novel methodologies to evaluate drug-dietary substance/herbal supplement interactions prospectively. Our lab is also advancing the development of promising orally-active anti-parasitic agents for treatment of African sleeping sickness. Ongoing research programs are summarized in the links below:
