Graduate Students:

Julie Lauffenburger, PharmD

Julie is a 2nd-year PhD student in DPOP with interests in pharmacoepidemiology, pharmaceutical policy, chronic disease managment, and medication adherence, especially in older adult populations. She enjoys learning research methods and secondary database management skills from the wide variety of faculty and course offerings at UNC-Chapel Hill. She hails from the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy where she finished her PharmD in 2010. After graduating, she eventually hopes to enter an academic position as both a researcher and educator.
