Dylan Glubb, PhDPostdoctoral Research Associate 919-966-9183 dylan.glubb@unc.edu Dylan’s current research is focused on identifying functional germline genetic variants in the angiogenic VEGF-pathway for use as biomarkers of cancer outcome or anti-angiogenesis drug responses. He is also investigating the association of genetic variants with the mRNA and protein expression of important pharmacogenes in the human liver. |

Dan Crona, PharmD
Graduate Student Dan’s translational research projects focus on the identification of genetic variants that associate with clinical endpoints, such as survival and toxicity. Specifically, Dan is focused on identifying functional germline variants in the angiogenesis pathway to help explain patient response to sorafenib in a renal cell carcinoma cohort. Dan is also involved with the identification of novel functional variants that associate survival outcomes in a cohort of patients with non-small cell lung cancer. |

Zhen Hu, PhD
Postdoctoral Research Associate Zhen’s research is focused on assessing the functionality of genetic variants associated with pancreatic cancer outcomes through statistical analysis of data collected from lymphoblastoid cell lines and rodent models as well as clinical trials. He is also involved in projects to identify functional germline genetic variants in oncogenic pathways for use as biomarkers of cancer outcomes or drug response. |
