The Center was initiated with funding from across the University and a significant contribution from the Cancer Research Fund (recently created by the State legislature). This initial funding and the facilities devoted to the Center, combined with NIH grant and contract awards, have enabled

Recruitment of:

• 11 medicinal/synthetic chemists – including two research Professors
• 8 assay development & compound profiling scientists – including one research Professor
• 2 computational/informatics scientists - including one research Professor

The Center has acquired:

• Compound collection of approx. 106,280 maximally diverse small molecules available for screening including
