Scientific Advisory Board

The Scientific Advisory Board meets twice yearly and reviews the Center's progress and portfolio.  The members are:

• David Lawrence, Chemistry & Medicinal Chemistry
• Ned Sharpless, Cancer center
• Russ Mumper, Nanotechnology & Drug Delivery
• Howard McLeod, Pharmacogenomics
• Michael Crimmins, Chemistry
• Cathy Innes, Tech transfer office

Criteria for portfolio evaluation include:

• Disease relevance of target/pathway
• Potential scientific impact of small molecule tools
• Tractability of assay development and ligand discovery
• Portfolio balance and fit with center expertise
