Structural Genomics Consortium (SGC) Postdoctoral Fellowship in Medicinal Chemistry at UNC Chapel Hill

The Center for Integrative Chemical Biology and Drug Discovery at UNC–CH invites highly skilled and motivated synthetic organic chemists who are interested in expanding or deepening their skills to include medicinal chemistry and chemical biology to apply for this position. The Center has a number of exciting projects in the area of the chemical biology of chromatin regulation. The postdoctoral fellow will become a member of a multidisciplinary team in an environment where his/her knowledge of organic synthesis will play a key role in creating chemical probes for histone methyltransferases and methyl-lysine reader proteins. Applicants are expected to be eligible for NIH funded postdoctoral fellowships and will be fully supported by Center faculty in seeking additional external funding for their research.
