Step 2: Submit Supplemental Application

Please read these directions carefully before following the application link at the bottom of this page.

After you have completed step 1 (applying online at PharmCAS), you should complete the supplemental online application specifically for the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy. You will need your PharmCAS ID number for the supplemental application. Please note that the requirements for different pharmacy schools (even those within the same state) may differ substantially.

Deadline

The supplemental application must be submitted online to the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy by December 2, 2013, for entry in the fall of 2014. Submit your application as soon as possible to ensure earlier review by the Admission Committee. All applications submitted by the priority deadline, October 1, 2013, will be guaranteed early consideration during the review process. The supplemental application fee is $80 and must be paid by a credit card at the time you submit the supplemental application.


Chapel Hill, Elizabeth City, or Asheville?

Regardless of whether you are applying for admission to the Chapel HillElizabeth City, or Asheville site, you should complete the PharmCAS application (Step 1) for the UNC PharmD program and rank your campus preference on the supplemental application materials (Step 2). Admission and curriculum requirements are the same for all three of our sites.

Before You Start

Before you begin the online supplemental application, it is important that you carefully read the following UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy policies:

Once you start the application, you must complete it. Please allow twenty to thirty minutes to complete the application. You cannot save changes and return to the form later. Therefore, please have the following ready before starting:

  • PharmCAS ID number
  • Residency information (if you are claiming North Carolina residency): When you start the supplemental application process, you will first be asked to complete the residency application to determine your instate or out-of-state residency status for tuition purposes. If you are claiming North Carolina residency, you will need to provide dates for domiciliary acts such as voting, registering to vote, serving jury duty, obtaining a North Carolina driver’s license, or filing an individual NC tax return.
  • Credit card: You will need it to pay the $80 application fee in the last step of the application.

When You Are Done

Upon submitting your supplemental application, you will receive a confirmation number. Please keep this confirmation number for your records as proof of submission.

 

The 2013-2014 supplemental application will open in August.
