Honors Program: Honors Course Designation
Honors Course DesignationAny course offered in the School of Pharmacy may be taken for Honors credit provided the student has discussed the additional requirements for the course with the course coordinator and has received permission from the course coordinator and chair of the Honors Program to register for the course for Honors credit. A form (available from the Office of Student Affairs) must be signed by the course coordinator and chair of the Honors Program and submitted to the Student Affairs Office by the student before the end of the University’s Drop-Add period. Taking a course for Honors credit generally requires pursuit of more in-depth or new material. Approximately 30 hours of additional course-related activity usually is required beyond that required of other students in the course. Specific activities vary from course to course and should be clarified with the course coordinator. Courses outside the School of Pharmacy may also be taken for Honors credit, subject to approval of the Honors Program chair and the course coordinator. | HONORS PROGRAM
