The Division of Medicinal Chemistry and Natural Products and the Division
of Molecular Pharmaceutics will present a seminar by John York, PhD, an
associate professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Cancer Biology
and the Department of Biochemistry at Duke University, on October 31.
York, who also is an investigator at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute,
studies the role of inositol signaling pathways in growth control and in the
pharmacologic action of lithium used for the treatment of bipolar disease.
