The Division of Molecular Pharmaceutics will present a seminar by
Constance Chu
, MD, on Monday, April 7.

Chu is an associate professor and the Albert B. Ferguson Chair of
Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
She also holds an appointment in the Department of Bioengineering
and is an active research investigator at the McGowan Institute for
Regenerative Medicine. Her research interests include cartilage tissue
engineering, novel cartilage imaging technology, chondroprotection,
enhanced clinical diagnosis of earl osteoarthritis, and the
responsiveness of four widely used, patient-completed measures of
knee functioning in patients undergoing operative treatment for focal
articular cartilage defects.

Chu's seminar, titled "Articular Cartilage Regeneration: Perspectives of a
Clinician-Scientist”, will be held at 11:00 a.m. in Beard Hall, room 116.
