The Division of Medicinal Chemistry and Natural Products will present a
seminar by Tim Willson, PhD, on Wednesday, November 4.
Willson is Director of High Throughput Chemistry at GlaxoSmithKline.
He leads a multidisciplinary team of researchers who use the nuclear
receptors as drug discovery targets. His scientific interests include the
application of medicinal and structural chemistry to the study of orphan
nuclear receptors.
The seminar, titled "Chemical Probes for Transcriptional Regulators", will
be held from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. in Kerr Hall, room 2001.
