The Division of Medicinal Chemistry and Natural Products will present a
seminar by Garland Marshall, PhD, on Wednesday, December 2.
Marshall is a professor of biochemistry and molecular biophysics at the
Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. The major focus
of his lab is molecular recognition, the basis of intermolecular interactions
and specificity seen in drug-receptor, hormone-receptor, antigen-antibody
and substrate-enzyme systems.
The seminar, titled "The Premise of Preorganization and Peptidomimetic
Design", will be held from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. in Kerr Hall, room 2001.
