The Division of Medicinal Chemistry and Natural Products will present a
seminar by Chengguo Xing, PhD, on Wednesday, August 27.
Xing is an assistant professor in the Department of Medicinal Chemistry at
the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy.
Xing's primary research focuses on studies related to Bcl-2 proteins, a
family of proteins that regulate apoptosis. His presentation is titled "Kava —
a potential chemopreventive agent and its mechanism of action".
The seminar will be held from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. in Kerr Hall, room 2001.
