The UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy will hold its annual Family Day on March 24, 2012. Family and friends of our students will get an opportunity to visit the School and learn more about the pharmacy profession, the doctor of pharmacy program, and the School.

The event will run from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and will include a light breakfast and a full lunch. This year’s attendees will get a completely hands-on experience where everyone will have a chance to participate in an activity that shows what it is like to be a pharmacist.

Activities will include:

• Tours of the School
• Blood pressure screenings and education
• A demonstration of the videoconferencing control room and classroom
• Pharmaceutical Care Lab compounding activities
• Meeting the professors

There will also be a Kids Klub room with a wide range of fun activities for the younger members of your party.

The cost of registration is $10, and children eight years old and younger can attend for free. Registration is now closed.
