Join Us for A Cookout

The UNC Pharmacy Alumni Association will be hosting a cookout for alumni, friends, and family during the conference. It will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 27, at the volleyball courts at the Holiday Inn Resort.

You can register for the cookout when you sign up for the seminar. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for kids.

26th Annual Pharmacy Practice Seminar

UPDATE: SEMINAR RESCHEDULED

The 26th Annual Pharmacy Practice Seminar, has been rescheduled for September 18 at the Hilton Riverside in Wilmington, North Carolina. The event was postponed because of Hurricane Irene.

  • If you registered for the original dates and plan to attend the rescheduled event, you do not need to sign up again.
  • If you did not register for the original dates and wish to sign up for the September 18 event, click here.
  • People who had signed up for the original dates and cannot attend the rescheduled event can receive a refund for their registration. To get a refund, please send your registration receipt to Krista Sills at krista_sills@unc.edu.
  • To reserve a room at the Hilton Riverside, call the hotel at 910-763-5900 and provide the group code SCP.

  • Who should attend: Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians from all practice areas will benefit from this seminar.
  • Goal: This program aims to provide pharmacists and technicians with current information to apply in their practices to improve patient safety and promote optimal drug therapy. Specific learning objectives for each topic will be distributed in the meeting program booklet.

CE Credits

The two-day Pharmacy Practice Seminar will provide a total of 9.0 contact hours of continuing pharmacy education credit. To receive credit attendance MUST be acknowledged at the registration desk upon arrival at the program. Evaluation of programs must be completed online no later than September 23, 2011, to ensure credit.
