Susan Blalock

Susan Blalock, MPH, PhD

Susan Blalock, MPH, PhD, is an associate professor in the Division of Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy. Dr. Blalock is a behavioral scientist with expertise in the area of patient and public health education. She earned her MPH from the School of Public Health at the University of Michigan and her PhD from the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health. Dr. Blalock’s current work focuses on assessing the impact of community pharmacy-based illness prevention and disease management programs and improving communication concerning medication risks. Her research has received funding from the National Institutes of Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the American College of Rheumatology Research and Education Foundation, and the Arthritis Foundation.
